On a Foundry, Snowflake, or Databricks substrate, Nervos is the execution and governance layer they don’t ship as a focused product.
Not in practice. Foundry is a horizontal data-integration and ontology platform; Nervos is a vertical decision-and-execution product for procurement and finance operations. A Foundry customer can run Nervos on top of the same systems of record — the products answer different questions.
Every write Nervos proposes — a vendor bill in NetSuite, an opportunity in Salesforce — must be approved by a human other than the proposer, executes with an idempotency key so retries cannot double-write, appends every stage to a SHA-256 hash-chained ledger, and where reversible, carries an automatic compensating rollback.
Yes. A proposal’s ledger exports via API, and the hash chain can be recomputed offline — or at thenervos.com/ledger-verify, which re-runs the verification entirely in the auditor’s browser using Web Crypto. No trust in Nervos servers is required.
Not yet, and we won’t claim otherwise. Palantir holds federal accreditations Nervos does not have. Nervos is SOC 2 Type II in progress, publishes its NIST 800-171 control alignment, and offers a DCAA-ready audit export — the honest current state is "architected for that path, not yet accredited."
